Copy-Cat Outback Steakhouse Bread

Copy-Cat Outback Steakhouse Bread
Copy-Cat Outback Steakhouse Honey Wheat Bread

If you've ever been to an Outback Steakhouse restaurant, you know that the meal always starts with a serving of honey wheat "Bushman" bread.  This bread is delicious and it's even better with generous amounts of butter.  I usually find it difficult not to eat too much of this bread before the meal is served.  Maybe that's why they make the loaves so small!

Now you can enjoy this delicious bread at home.  This copy-cat Outback Steakhouse honey wheat bread recipe makes bread that's exactly like what is served at the restaurant.  I was surprised to find out the secret ingredient is coffee!  Who knew!  (I didn't have instant coffee granules so I substituted coffee for the water.)

If you think making homemade yeast breads from scratch is difficult, think again.  It's incredibly easy.   Just activate the yeast by letting in sit in warm water for five minutes.  Then mix all the ingredients to form a dough. Wait an hour or two for the dough to rise and bake.  Freshly baked bread smells so good!

I've found a really good copy-cat recipe for Red Lobster biscuits on Pinterest too.  Now I just need to find the recipe for the Olive Garden bread sticks!
