The Pin Junkie One Year Blogiversary



This week marks my one year blogging anniversary!  Just over a year ago, I discovered Pinterest.  I quickly collected thousands of pins on my Pinterest boards and soon realized that I didn't want my boards to be a collection of pretty pictures.  I wanted my boards to be true inspiration boards that inspired doing and action.  I started actually doing the things I pinned and wanted to share my love of Pinterest as well as my completed projects with others and The Pin Junkie was born!  I made so many crafts there were just too many to count!  Below are some of my very favorite projects and recipes from the past year.  I hope you'll take a minute to vote on your favorites!  You can vote as many times as you want and for as many recipes and projects as you would like.  I'll be sharing the results later this week.


Not all of my projects turned out well.  This jack-o-lantern was my very first Pinterest project.  It was supposed to look like it was eating an arm, but it looked more like a mutant pumpkin with an arm for a tongue!

were complete disasters.

But over all, I'm happy to say that most of the projects and recipes I tried from Pinterest turned out really well!  Here's a look back at what I've done this year.

My projects were featured on 158 
different blogs this year!

I tried 68 new recipes this year
and they all came from Pinterest!



I read 13 books from my "books I want to read" Pinterest board.
Some of the authors even left comments on my book reviews!

I entered four photo competitions this year.
All the beautiful pictures on Pinterest inspired me to improve my photography.
        
            

My home got three makeovers all inspired by Pinterest.

    Congrats on your 1 year Blogiversary!!! That is a HUGE accomplishment and you should be very proud! I loved your fabric covered notebooks and bathroom storage ideas... My 1 year is coming up in just a couple of months, so I know how hard it is to keep plugging along. Keep up the awesome work, you really rock! :)
