Repurposed Clothes Hanger As Chip Clip
This is one of the first things I pinned when I first discovered Pinterest.
What a brilliant idea to reuse a plastic hanger as a chip clip! I love finding clever uses for things that might otherwise get thrown away. It's super easy and only takes a few minutes. You'll need some serious cutters and some major up body strength to cut through the plastic, though.
I like to think that clever and creative people see
alternative uses for things. Certain individuals at my house (their identity
will remain anonymous) thought these were junk and tossed them out! (insert eye
roll here!)
I've done this too. I used rose clippers to cut my hangers, and it worked really well. I love not having to buy a bunch of clips. )
ReplyDeleteLove it. Thanks for reimagining ... I have some of these... Take care, Linda

I thought about this because we always have those extra pant hangers that attach to the shirt hangers, but we don't use them. However, I figured I wouldn't have the strength or cutting tools to cut them. I often use clothes pins we get from random school crafts or the clips that come with helium balloons because I'm too cheep to buy any of the real ones. :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband laughs at me when I do stuff like this. But hey I'm saving him money. Ideas like this are great!
