I love sweet and salty combinations. Semi-sweet chocolate and salty pretzels are a great combination and easy to do. I've had chocolate covered pretzels before, but surprisingly had never made my own. I was inspired by this pin of chocolate covered pretzels sticks:
large pretzel sticks
1 cup chocolate chips
1. Melt the chocolate chips by heating a pan of water on the stove. When water boils, turn off the heat and place a bowl containing the chocolate chips over the pan. Gently stir until chips are melted. (Don't microwave the chocolate chips or the chocolate will burn and won't be the right consistency.)
2. Using a spoon or knife, spread melted chocolate over half of each pretzel.
3. Add sprinkles.
4. Place pretzels on waxed paper and allow chocolate to dry.
