Dirty Dishes

I was able to cross off two things on my Pinterest list with this project!  Not only did I make this cute little saying, I also learned how to download and use a new font.

A quick piece of advice about downloading fonts - be careful!  I somehow got something called FLV Runner which highjacks your toolbar and search engines.  According to what I read online, it's not malicious, but it's scary because you don't know what's going on with your computer and annoying because it took about an hour to get rid of it.  Thankfully I found an excellent tutorial on You Tube.  I also have a patient and computer savvy husband who helped me solve the problem.

Anyway, on to today's project.  I found this cute saying and decided to make one for myself.  We always seem to have dirty dishes piled up at the sink.  I thought this saying was a nice reminder to count our blessings and look at things, even dirty dishes, in a positive way.

I typed it using "Wednesday" from this font collection.  If you don't download something nasty by mistake like I did, this is a really quick and easy project.  Just type, print, and frame!  I love the fonts in this collection and it's the first one I've tried to use.  I've found many cute and free fonts on Pinterest, but after this experience I'm a little hesitant to try to use them.  Has anyone else had problems using free fonts from Pinterest?
